    Rolls: Clover Leaf Rolls

    List of Ingredients

    3 1/2 cups sifted flour
    1 cup egg substitute, room temp
    1/4 cup skim milk, room temp
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon oil
    3 teaspoons yeast
    light margarine spray

    Recipe

    Put all wet ingredients into the bread maker "bucket." Then add the flour, sugar, and salt. The yeast goes in last. Choose the "white bread" or "basic" dough setting on your bread maker. If you do not have a bread maker, you can make this dough in the traditional method and allow to rise until doubled. Prepare a muffin tin by spraying with margarine spray in each cup. When the dough has risen, punch down on a lightly floured surface.

    Pinch off or cut the dough into pieces to form 36, 2 inch, balls. Drop three dough balls into each muffin cup and spray with margarine spray. Let rise until doubled. Preheat oven to 350ºF and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Please note that if you are using a dark, non-stick, baking pan that you should reduce the oven temperature by 15-25 ºF and place the pan in the upper part of your oven to prevent the bottoms from over cooking.
