    1 envelope active dry yeast
    1/4 cup lukewarm water (105�F)
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1 cup milk, scalded
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    3-1/2 cups bread flour
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1-1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 cup rolled oats
    Melted butter or margarine
    Rolled oats

    In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water with sugar; let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Combine scalded milk and cream; cool to lukewarm (105�F). Add milk mixture and 1-1/2 cups flour to dissolved yeast; beat until smooth. Cover; let rise in a warm, draft-free place for 45 minutes.

    Spray 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray. �Stir eggs, remaining flour, salt, paprika, pepper, and butter into yeast mixture until smooth. Stir in cheese and oats. Pour into prepared baking pan. Brush top with melted butter; sprinkle with oats. Let stand, uncovered, in a warm, draft-free place until doubled, about 1-1/2 hours.

    Preheat oven to 375�F. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 1 loaf
