    List of Ingredients




    2 packages dry yeast
    1 egg beaten
    1/4 cup warm water
    2 1/4 cups warm water
    1 teaspoon sugar
    8 cups flour
    1/2 cup shortening
    2 teaspoons salt
    1/2 cup sugar

    Recipe



    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 C. water, add 1 t. sugar. Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg, water, salt, and yeast. Add flour, and mix well. Knead till soft and elastic. Put in large greased bowl, grease top of dough. Cover and put in refrigerator. When ready to use, take as much dough as needed. Shape the rolls and put in greased pan. Let rise till double. Bake at 350¼F till golden.The dough stays in the refrigerator, so you can bake as many as you want - whenever you want them.
