1 cup Kashi pilaf (hot cereal section at store)
1 cup water
1 cup juice
1 handful chopped dried fruits
Recipe
In a 2-quart saucepan, bring the two cups of liquid to a rolling boil on high heat. Pour 1 packet (1 cup) of Kashi into the boiling liquid. Cover, turn heat down to medium (not simmer) and cook for 25 minutes or until all the liquid is dissolved. Throw in a handful of dried fruit mixture and top with your favorite milk substitute or fruit juice.
