2 cups water
1/2 cup raisin
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 vanilla
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
In one quart saucepan, combine water and raisins; bring to a boil Add oats gradually, stirring. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Reduce heat and cook for about 8 minutes. Ladle into bowls and top with seeds and nuts. Serve with milk, cream or yogurt. Can refrigerate or freeze uneaten portions. Microwave method: in 2 quart casserole, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Cook on high 8-10 minutes, depending on consistency desired. Stir after half the time. Serves 4.
