4 cups Old-fashioned oats
1 cup Flaked coconut
1/2 cup Wheat germ
1/2 cup Sesame seeds
1/2 cup Slivered almonds
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
1/4 cup Packed brown sugar
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup Water
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Golden raisinsRecipe
In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients; mix well. In a saucepan, cook, oil, brown sugar, honey, water and vanilla until sugar is dissolved. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a greased 13x9x2" baking pan. Bake at 275 F. for one hour or until golden, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in raisins or apricots. Yield: about 9 cups.
