Macadamia French Toast

List of Ingredients
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 c sugar
1/4 t ground nutmeg
2/3 c orange juice
1/3 c milk
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 loaf italian bread cut into 1 inch slices
2/3 c melted butter or margarine
1/2 c chopped macadamia nuts
Recipe
Mist first 6 ingredients. Place bread slices in a singles layer in a lightly greased 9X13 inch baking dish. Spoon egg mixture over bread. Chill, covered, for 8 hours to overnight, turning bread once. Pour butter into a 10X15 inch jelly roll pan. Add bread in a single layer. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the nuts. Bake for 10 minutes. Garnish with confectioners sugar & nutmeg. Serve immediately with maple syrup.
