Rhonda Sells, winning entry in the Hammons Black Walnut Cooking Contest at the 2003 Ozark Empire Fair, as published by the Hammons Products Company
List of Ingredients
1 cup finely chopped cooked chicken
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon brown mustard, spicy
1 cup milk
1 cup black walnuts
1 baked 9-inch pie crust
Recipe
Mix chicken, cheese, onion, flour and part of the black walnuts. Sprinkle this mixture into crust. Mix beaten eggs, milk and mustard. Pour over the chicken mixture; top with remaining walnuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
