    Buns/Rolls: Bread Machine Caramel Rolls

    List of Ingredients

    7 1/2 ounces water
    3 cups bread flour
    4 tablespoons sugar
    3 tablespoons powdered milk
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    5 tablespoons butter
    2 teaspoons rapid rise yeast

    Recipe

    Place all ingredients in bread machine in order given. Set on DOUGH setting - turn machine on. When machine has finished cycling - remove dough from pan, place on lightly floured surface. Pat dough into a rectangle. Spread with butter and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Crumble about 1/2 cup brown sugar all over. roll up into a long roll and seal edge. cut into 12 equal size rolls and place in prepared pan of caramel.

    To make caramel, melt 1 stick of margarine and add 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream. Bring to a boil and boil for a couple minutes. remove from stove and pour into a lightly greased 9 by 13 inch pan. add rolls and let them raise until doubled, about 45 minutes or so. Bake in preheated 350�F for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Makes 12 rolls.
