    My Easy Perfect Pie Crust

    1 stick butter -- frozen
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    4 tablespoons ice water

    Recipe



    Grate the frozen butter. Toss grated butter a little bit with flour then use a pastry cutter or the two knife method to cut the butter into the flour until size of small peas or grainy. Toss with cold water one tablespoon at a time until dough just holds together. Gather into ball; flatten into disk. Wrap in plastic; chill 1 hour. Roll out to desired size and use. Makes one 9" to 10" crust. Double recipe for a two crust thing.
