    4 egg whites
    3/4 cup table sugar
    1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 300ºF. Spray a 9" pie plate with cooking spray. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar. Beat until stiff. Gradually add sugar and beat until glossy, then stir in vanilla. Turn into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour or until firm. Good with lemon or custard fillings.
