Pork: Chinese Pork in Wine Sauce

2 pounds boneless pork
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 green onions
1/4 teaspoon ground anise
2 cloves garlic crushedRecipe
Preheat oven to 275°F. Spray an oven-proof casserole, just large enough to hold meat, with non-stick vegetable spray. Place pork in prepared casserole. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat; cover. Bake for 6 hours.
