Wonton: Wonton Filling

3/4 pound ground pork or chicken
1 cup water chestnuts, chopped finely
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce (or more to taste)
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
3 green onions, fine chopped
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice
wonton wrappers
Recipe
Combine all ingredients and place about 1/2 tsp filling on wonton skin, then fold. Use water to moisten edges of skin to hold together. Deep fry in oil (about 350ºF) until well browned.
