Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Squares

2 rolls refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
16 ounces cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs Recipe
(Let one roll of cookie dough soften at room temperature) Spread softened dough in the bottom of a 9"x13" baking pan. Do NOT grease or flour the pan. With a mixer, mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fluffy. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of cookie dough. Slice remaining roll of cookie dough and lay the pieces out on top of cream cheese. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F. Cool completely before cutting.
Note: I have used various types of cookie dough with success, including the ready to bake ones that come in mounds that you just pull apart -- for those, just press one package worth onto the bottom of your pan, make your filling, and then with the other package of cookies just press them flat between your fingertips and lay them over the top of the filling layer. You can also drizzle chocolate syrup over the finished baked product.
