    Christy's Peanut Butter Honey Brownies

    1 package Ghiradelli double chocolate brownie mix ; (see note)
    1/2 cup honey
    3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
    3 tablespoons butter or margarine
    3/4 cup chocolate chips

    Note: can use any favorite brownie recipe or mix that gives you a 9x9 pan of brownies -- if using regular brownies, tastes good if you stir in some extra chocolate or peanut butter chips.

    Mix and bake brownies acccording to package directions. Let cool completely. Combine honey with peanut butter and mix well. Spread over cooled brownies. Place chocolate chips and butter in microwave-safe container; cook on high for 30-60 seconds until just melted and stir well. Let cool completely, and then spread chocolate over peanut butter layer. Cut small as these are VERY rich (and pretty gooey when you try to eat them)


    You can also double all ingredients and bake in a 9x13 pan instead, which we usually do.
