1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons vegetable oil -- or sesame oil
1 clove minced garlic
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup rice -- regular, uncookedRecipe
Mix soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic and ginger to make marinade (reserve 2 tablespoons in a small bowl for Teriyaki Burgers). Freeze chicken in marinade in a 1-gallon bag. When preparing to serve, thaw chicken. Pour chicken and marinade into a baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350ºF oven for 35 minutes. Prepare rice according to package directions. Serve over rice.
