Apple Cranberry Cookie Cobbler

List of Ingredients
5 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and sliced.
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce (16 oz.)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon (I like to add more)
1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (20 oz.)
Vanilla Ice Cream (optional) Recipe
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Peel, core, and slice apples. Cut apples in half, place in a deep baking pan. Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, flour and cinnamon in bowl, mix well. Slice cookie dough into 1/4 inch thick slices. Arrange evenly over apple mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired. Makes 10 servings.
