Blushing Peach Crunch

6 Peaches, peeled, pitted, sliced
1/2 cup Unsalted butter
1 cup Sugar
3/4 cup All-purpose flour
1/4 cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg Recipe
* Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Coarsely slice peaches and place in 9 inch sqare pan. Melt butter and set aside. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl and pour in butter. Stir to mix well and scatter evenly over peaches.
* Bake in center of oven till top is golden brown and bubbly. Cool slightly and serve.
* original poster's notes : I had excellent results substituting 4 large Cortland or Jonagold apples. I increased the cinnamon and nutmeg once but preferred the original amounts.
