    1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/3 cup melted butter
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 cup cold water
    1/4 cup milk
    8 ounces cream cheese
    1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
    2 envelopes dream whip topping
    21 ounces cherry pie filling

    Mix cracker crumbs, sugar and butter; press into springform pan. Line sides of pan with waxed paper. Soften gelatin in water. Heat milk, then stir in gelatin until dissolved. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add gelatin and beat until well blended. Prepare dream whip according to package directions, then mix into cream cheese mixture. Pour into springform pan. Refrigerate until firm, then spread pie filling on top.
