List of Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling Recipe
Blend sugar, butter, shortening, vanilla, almond and eggs in large bowl. Beat for 3 minutes. Combine flour and baking powder, then fold dry ingredients into batter. Spread 2/3 of batter into well greased jelly roll pan. Spread cherry filling over top. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over cherry layer. Bake at 350¼F for 45-50 minutes, then cool for 30 minutes. Glaze with powdered sugar mixed with milk.
