    TOPPING:
    1 cup Bisquick¨ baking mix
    1/2 cup nuts chopped
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    3 tablespoons butter firm

    BASE:
    6 cups apples thinly sliced
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup Bisquick¨ baking mix
    3/4 cup milk
    2 tablespoons butter softened
    1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    2 eggs

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350¼F. Grease a 13x9 dish. Prepare topping (Bisquick, nuts, brown sugar and butter) and reserve. Spread apples in baking dish. Beat rest of ingredients in blender on high, or hand mixer for 1 minute. Pour over apples and then sprinkle on topping. Bake 55 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
