Scalloped Rhubarb

8 tablespoons butter
3 cups diced uncooked rhubarb
1 cup sugar
3 cups cubed stale bread Recipe
Put butter into glass 6x10 inch baking pan. Place in 325¼F oven until butter melts. Combine rhubarb and sugar. Add bread cubes, then spoon into baking pan with melted butter, and mix well. Pour 1 tbl. water into each of the 4 corners of the pan. Bake at 325¼F for 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Serves 6-8.
