Bread-Sweet: Best Banana Nut Bread *

2 cups sifted flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 large bananas, mashed
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup sugar
Recipe
Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in mashed bananas. Fold in dry ingredients. Add nuts and place in a well greased 9x5x3 loaf pan or 8" square pan. Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour. Nut Bread: Substitute 1/4 C. milk for the bananas.
