List of Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup molasses
1 teaspoon ginger
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon cinnamon


Recipe

Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and water. Add dry ingredients and mix well. If too dry, add 1 t. water; dough should be stiff. Chill dough. Press in mold, or roll out and cut out pieces. Bake at 350¼F for 25 minutes.
