    Breakfast: Ham, Spinach & Swiss Strudel

    List of Ingredients

    1 pound phyllo dough
    1 pound frozen chopped spinach, well drained
    1 8 ounces thin sliced ham
    1 8 ounces thin sliced Swiss cheese
    2 tablespoons chopped onion
    1/8 teaspoon garlic salt (sprinkle on spinach)
    1 pound butter, melted
    salt and peper to taste
    1 cup flour or wax paper

    Recipe

    Place flour or wax paper on table. Set each filo sheet on top of each other, making sure to brush each sheet with butter. Repeat this until all sheets are used. Cook spinach; drain well! (Use paper towel.) Add garlic salt, salt and pepper to spinach. Spread spinach across center of buttered filo sheets. Place ham slices overlapping each other over spinach; repeat same process with cheese. Carefully roll strudel in a jellyroll fashion. Place, seam side down, on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
