    Candy: Pink Coconut Nests

    1 (14-oz.) pkg. white candy coating pieces
    Pink paste food color
    3 cup shredded coconut
    1 cup peanut chocolate candies, candy-coated chocolate eggs or jelly beans

    Place white candy pieces in a large glass bowl and microwave on medium power for 2 to 3 minutes, until candy is melted and smooth when stirred. Tint pink with paste food color as desired, mixing well. Stir in coconut until well-blended. Spoon or scoop about 1 generous tablespoon mixture into mounds on waxed paper-lined baking sheet; shape to form nests using back or end of spoon to make depression in center. Immediately press 3 candies into each center; refrigerate until set. Makes 16 to 18 nests.
