Salad/Dressing: Fruit Salad with Almond Dressing

List of Ingredients

1/2 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 head lettuce, shredded
16 ounces sliced Bartlett pears, drained
2 medium apples, cored, thinly sliced
1 banana, peeled and sliced


Recipe

Beat cream with sugar until stiff. Fold in mayonnaise, juice and extract. Stir in 1/4 cup almonds. In salad bowl, place lettuce; arrange fruit on top. Sprinkle with remaining almonds. Pour dressing over salad and toss lightly.
