    Appetizer: Goat Cheese with Pears & Walnuts

    List of Ingredients

    12 small rounds fresh goat cheese (1 oz. each)
    3/4 cup honey
    1/2 cup candied walnuts
    3 fresh pears (Bosc), cored, cut
    1/8" thick slices

    Recipe

    Place 2 goat cheese rounds on each plate. Pour 1 tablespoon of the honey over each round. Scatter 5 or 6 nuts over and around the cheese, and arrange several pear slices around each plate. Yield: 12 servings.
