Treats: Bigfoot Bundles

List of Ingredients

large cauldron (heavy saucepan)
* greased cookie sheet
* measuring cups
* measuring spoons
* long handled wooden spoon
* oven mitts
* plastic wrap
* Parent Wizard

* 1/2 stick unsalted butter
* 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1 tablespoon warm water
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
* 2 tablespoons corn syrup
* 4 ounces angel hair pasta, broken in half and cooked


Recipe

Mixing the Concoction:
1. Ask Parent Wizard to help you melt the butter in the cauldron. Use the oven mitts to hold onto the handle of the cauldron and use the long handled spoon to stir.

2. Add the sugar. Remove the cauldron from the heat and stir.

3. Add the water, vinegar, vanilla, and corn syrup. Place the cauldron back on the stove over LOW heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Do NOT allow the potion to boil. 
4. Add the cooked angel hair pasta

5. Ask Parent Wizard's help! Carefully bring the potion to a boil. Let the potion boil for about 20 minutes.(Chant: Bigfoot bundles, hairy brew; fuzzy wonders, furry stew.)

6. With a Parent Wizard's help, pour the brew into the greased cookie sheet and let the potion cool. As soon as it is cool enough to handle -- have a Parent Wizard check this first -- grease your hands with butter. Take a spoon and scoop up a small ball and roll the ball in your greased hands. Repeat until the entire potion is done.

7. Place the little, hairy balls on a greased cookie sheet and let cool. Munch your hairy bundles.
