Poison Apples: Praline Baked Apples

1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 small red baking apples
1/4 cup pecans or walnuts coarsely chopped
1/4 cup packed brown sugar Recipe
In a small bowl, combine apple juice and 18 teaspoon of the cinnamon in a small bowl. Divide mixture among four 6-ounce custard cups. Core apples; remove peel from the top of each. Place apples in prepared custard cups. Place custard cups in a shallow baking pan. Combine nuts, brown sugar, and remaining 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Bake, covered, in a 350ºF oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender. Makes 4 servings.
