Appetizer: Buny's Cheese Ball

Recipe Introduction

We used to have this every New Year's Eve with stone wheat crackers.

List of Ingredients

1 cup cheddar cheese -- shredded
1 cup Monterey jack cheese -- shredded
8 ounces lowfat cream cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup parsley -- chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup walnuts -- finely chopped


Recipe

Use shredding disc of food processor to shred the cheeses. Transfer to mixing bowl. Insert steel blade in food processor. Combine cream cheese, butter, Worcestershire, parsley and paprika. Process until smooth. Add to cheeses in mixing bowl and stir until well blended. Shape into large ball. Roll in walnuts to give a fine even coating. Chill well before serving.
