Veggies: Green Bean Casserole

List of Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can french fried onions
1/4 cup water
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup


Recipe

Cut beans into fourths lengthwise. Place beans, water and salt in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. cover tightly and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stir and cover; microwave til crisp-tender, about 4-6 minutes longer. Stir in soup; cover and microwave on high til hot and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes. Stir and sprinkle with onions. Microwave uncovered til hot, 2-3 minutes. Can also use 2 pkgs. frozen french-style green beans; drain before stirring in the soup.
