    Appetizer: Spinach Dip *

    Recipe Introduction

    I was introduced to this dip at a work carry-in lunch. No one could stay away from it! It's wonderful with bread chunks.. just as good on crackers and tortilla chips.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups sour cream fat free (or regular)
    1 cup mayonnaise, fat free (or regular)
    1 envelope veg soup mix (1/4 cup) (or ranch dressing mix)
    1 10 oz package chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    4 green onion, chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1 teaspoon lemon juice

    Recipe

    Thaw spinach and squeeze out liquid. Add rest and blend well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Serve with pumpernickel or sourdough bread chunks.
