1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Salt
1/2 cup Soap flakes, or soft soap
3/4 cup White vinegar
1/4 cup Lemon juice
1/2 cup Very warm water
1 tb Whiting
In an enamel or a glass bowl, mix the flour, salt and soap together until the soap is thoroughly dissolved. Then add the rest of teh ingredients, stirring well. Pour into a clean quart jar and cover tightly. Label and keep out of reach of children.
To use: Shake solution before using, pour some of the paste onto the copper piece, and then scrub gently with a sponge. Rinse, dry and buff lightly with a sof cloth. Yield 16 oz
