Silver Polish

1 c Soap flakes
1 c Whiting
1 tb Ammonia
2 c Boiling water
Mix soap whiting and ammonia together in a glass or enamel pan. Pour in the boiling water and stir to dissolve. Let solution cool. Pour into a quart jar. Lable and cap tightly and keep out of reach of kids.
To use: Wash silver in soap and water. Do not rinse; shake polish and
apply to silver with a softcloth or sponge. Rub gently rinse silver
in warm water, buff and dry. yield 20 oz
