Beef Strips & Carrots

1 pound carrots
2/3 cup carbonated soda water
1 cup white wine
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 pound sirloin steak
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 onions diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon chopped parsley Recipe
Peel carrots; cut into diagonal slices.� In a medium saucepan, combine carrots, soda water, wine, salt, and sugar; cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until tender. Cut meat into very thin slices.
In a large skillet, heat oil; add onions and saut� for 5 minutes.� Add beef slices; cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.� Stir in salt and pepper.� Add the meat mixture to the carrots; gently mix.� Stir in the cream; heat, DO NOT BOIL.� Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
