    Brisket with World Famous Sauce

    1 beef brisket (5-14 lb.)
    2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
    2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    2 tablespoons minced onion
    2 packages au jus gravy mix
    2 packages brown gravy mix
    3 ounces Louisiana hot sauce

    Recipe



    Bake brisket for 3 hours at 400ºF. Separate meat from broth. Place broth in large pan and bring to boil. Add A-1, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder and minced onion. Place brisket on barbecue grill and baste with cooked sauce until brisket is well darkened but not burned. Place brisket in freezer until stiff, but not frozen for slicing. Slice into 3/8" thick slices. Make up the 4 packages of gravy mix. Add remaining sauce. Put sliced brisket into large serving pan and pour sauce over meat.
