    Meatballs: Meatballs and Gravy

    List of Ingredients

    1 pound hamburger
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1 egg
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 crackers -- crumbled

    Recipe

    Mix all ingredients well. Using a small ice cream scoop, make balls 2" in diameter. Brown in skillet in about 1/2 C. oil over medium heat till lightly brown. Remove and drain. Pour off oil to 3T. Add 3 T. flour; simmer till brown. Add water or broth till creamy consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place meatballs in gravy. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with rice.
