    3 slices bread
    1 pound ground beef
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 can (no. 2) potatoes, drained
    1 cup sour cream

    Recipe



    Soak bread in water for 5 minutes. Drain and mix with beef steak, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into round cakes and saute in hot butter. Remove meat cake to small casserole. Brown potatoes in skillet, then arrange them of top of meat. Add sour cream, cover casserole, and bake in350ºF oven for 20-30 minutes.. Serve cakes and potatoes with sauce, right from casserole.
