Continental Chicken Casserole

3 tablespoons Butter
6 tablespoons Flour, all-purpose
2 cups Chicken broth
1 cup Cream, light
1 teaspoon Mustard, prepared yellow
1/2 teaspoon Salt
ds Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Allspice
1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg, ground
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Seasoned salt
1/4 cup Sherry, dry
4 Eggs hard-cooked; cubed
4 cups Chicken cooked, chopped
Breadcrumbs, buttered Recipe
Melt butter in saucepan and stir in flour until smooth. Over low heat, slowly blend in broth, then cream. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Combine all seasonings; then blend into sauce. Stir in wine; fold in eggs and chicken. Turn into buttered 3-quart casserole, top with crumbs, and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Note: May be prepared ahead of time. Note: Leftover turkey may be substituted for chicken. Serves 10
