Oven Chicken & Rice

1 fryer chicken -- cut up
1/2 envelope onion soup mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup rice, uncooked
2 cans water
margarine
1 teaspoon salt
pepper to tasteRecipe
Lay chicken in buttered 13x9 baking dish. Sprinkle rice over chicken. Mix soup, water, salt , pepper, and soup mix together. Pour over chicken and rice. Stir slightly to distribute rice. Dot with margarine. Cover with foil. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, and at 325ºF for 1 hour.
