Bacon Wrapped Chicken

6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
12 strip bacon
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder with parsley
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Wrap each chicken breast in two strips of bacon; secure with toothpicks and place in a 13x9-inch baking dish. In a medium bowl mix together soup, sour cream, garlic powder and pepper. Pour over chicken and cover dish with foil. Bake 90 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked*. (Should test 165ºF on thermometer when done.)
Note: possible adaptions include adding can of cream of chicken to sauce mix for more flavor, and cooking chicken 30 minutes before adding the sauce to give bacon better flavor. Good with egg noodles or rice and a salad. Sauce can be doubled. Can also top with Durkee Onions and add cheddar cheese at end until melted.
