    Honey Buttermilk Chicken

    2 fryer chickens cut into serving pieces
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 egg
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1/2 cup Ritz cracker crumbs
    1/2 cup honey , heated
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Beat together 2 Tbl. honey, egg and buttermilk til blended. On flat plate, place cracker crumbs. Dip chicken into buttermilk mixture, and then into crumbs. Put chicken in 1 layer in baking pan. Bake in 350ºF oven for 40 minutes. Baste lightly with worm honey and bake 30 minutes more. Baste with honey again and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Bake for another 10 minutes or till pecans are toasted. Watch carefully so pecans don't burn. Serves 6.
