Microwave Barbecued Chicken Drumsticks

Quick and Easy Microwaving Chicken
List of Ingredients
3/4 cup catsup
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons chopped celery
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
8 chicken drumsticks -- skinnedRecipe
Combine all ingredients, except drumsticks, in a 4-cup measure. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, or until hot, stirring once during cooking time. Microwave at 50% power for 13 to 19 minutes longer or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are blended, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking. Arrange the drumsticks in a 9-inch square baking dish with meaty ends toward outside edges. Brush with 1/3 of the sauce. Cover with wax paper, Microwave at high for 7 minutes. Turn over and rearrange drumsticks; brush with the remaining sauce. Re-cover. Microwave at high for 6 to 9 minutes, or until meat near the bone is no longer pink and the juices run clear. Serves 4.
