2 fryer chickens, cut into 8 pieces
3/4 cup cream
1 cup cornflake crumbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprikaRecipe
Dip chicken into the cream and then roll into mixture of crumbs, garlic powder and paprika. Place in baking dish and bake in 350ºF oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or till tender. Serve with biscuits and honey and country cream gravy. Country Cream Gravy: 2 Tbl. butter, 2 Tbl. flour, 1 c. rich chicken broth, 1 c. cream, salt and pepper to taste. In saucepan, cook together butter and flour for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add rest of ingredients and keep cooking and stirring til thickened. Makes 2 c. gravy.
