    Sweet & Sour Chicken Breasts

    2 packages boneless chicken breasts
    1 bottle catalina french dressing
    1-20 ounce can pineapple chunks in own juice
    small glass orange juice
    garlic powder
    2 eggs
    unseasoned bread crumbs

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray large pyrex dish with pam. Set aside. Beat eggs. Dip chicken in eggs dredge with crumbs and place in pyrex dish till all are done. Place closely together but do not overlap. Set aside.

    Meanwhile put in saucepan and bring to boil, 3/4 catalina french dressing, pineapple chunks and juice, orange juice, sprinkle in garlic powder. Turn off sauce and pour over chicken in pyrex dish saving all pineapple chunks in saucepan. You put these in later. Make sure there s enough sauce to cover chicken. Put in oven and turn down to 350 and cook uncovered for 3/4 hour. When done. You could set aside for a dinner party here, and finish later.

    When 3/4 of an hour is up take chicken out, add chunks and drizzle remaining dressing on and heat for 20 minutes more. You can always do this last minute so this dish is a great party dish. For party serving cut up chicken breasts in 3rds before put in pyrex dish.
