Smoky Hot Beef Chili

1 Tbsp oil
3/4 lb. beef sirloin cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup chopped onions
1 medium green bell pepper seeded and chopped
2 garlic cloves crushed
2 cans Italian plum tomatoes (28-oz.) undrained, cut-up
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Liquid Smoke
1/2 tsp pepper

1 avocado peeled, pitted and
chopped
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 cup sour cream
Recipe
Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef; cook 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is well browned. Stir in onions, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 4 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in all remaining ingredients (except Topping ingredients). Bring mixture just to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 45 to 55 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, combine avocado and lime juice. To serve chili, ladle chili into bowls; top with sour cream and chopped avocado. Makes about 6 servings.
