    "No Fat-All Good" Turkey Chili

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 ground turkey breast (99% fat free)
    2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
    2 onions medium chopped
    3 large cloves garlic minced
    4 oz. cans Red gold whole peeled tomatoes (do not drain)
    2 bay leaves
    1 1/2 Tbs. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 cup water

    Recipe



    Cook and set aside ground turkey. In a 5 quart pot, combine the balsamic vinegar, chopped onions and minced garlic and cook on low heat until softened (about 5 minutes). Add the whole, peeled tomatoes to the pot and slice them until most of the pieces are less than ½ inch in size. Add the ground turkey and rest of ingredients. Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 30 minutes, add the following to pot, return to boil, then simmer for an additional one hour, stirring occasionally:

    2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    2 Tbs. basil
    2 Tbs. oregano
    1 Tbs. salt
    3 16 oz. cans "Bush's Dark Red Kidney Beans (do not drain)

    Add water as needed or increase cook time to achieve desired consistency. Refrigerate and reheat the following day for best taste.
