Oyster: Crusty Fried Oysters

1 Egg beaten
2 tb Water cold
12 oz Oysters, well drained
1 1/2 c Cracker crumbs, saltine
Oil, salad hotRecipe
Combine egg and water. Dip oysters in egg mixture, and roll each in cracker crumbs. Fry oysters in salad oil heated to 375 degrees; cook about 2 minutes or unitl golden brown. Serves 4.
