    Prawns: Parmesan Prawns

    List of Ingredients

    24 medium Prawns -- uncooked
    1 tablespoon Salt
    1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice
    2 cups Fine bread crumbs
    1 cup Parmesan cheese

    DIPPING BATTER
    2 tablespoons Flour
    1 tablespoon Cornstarch
    1 teaspoon Oil
    1/2 cup Water
    1 Egg
    1 Pinch salt

    Recipe

    Shell the prawns and butterfly them. Season with salt, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip the seasoned prawns into the dipping batter and roll them in the breadcrumb / cheese mix. Deep fat fry them at 350ºF for approximately 2 minutes until golden brown. Serves 6.

    DIPPING BATTER: Mix all ingredients together.
